My background: I have been a massage therapist for 28 years. I worked for 16 years as therapist at the Women's Wellness Center at Little Company of Mary Hospital in Evergreen Park. Some of my clients asked for additional personal assistance, and I began care-taking. Recent care giving jobs: In the last two years I have had two jobs helping older people in need, each time adjusting to the situation and making it an enjoyable experience, for myself and the client. For these clients I provided the following kind of services: I cooked and served meals, organized and cleaned up their home, took them to appointments and shopping. provided pet care, provided light massage work.
